COMMENTS

I love the next series of these toys in contrast to the Kats. The packaging is very appealing in design and colours and who else you can collect within the toys. There is however a mistake made within the identification of which robot that transforms into their based reptile mode. For example on the back of the card-back with the toy artwork designs, the third robot shown has "IGUANA" written next to him and the last robot shown has "ALLIGATOR" written next to him, when correctly and visually speaking the names should be switched around. It isn't a big problem its just something I noticed and thought I'd share if you are new to them.

MY COMMENTS
This is another interesting type of toy packaging of the INVADING REPTILE series. When I stumbled across this I found it so attractive as a whole with the colours used, lay out of design , toy art work placing, and how its sealed with a lot clear plastic and cool boxing designing.

REVIEW

GOOD SIDES
> These toys are really fun for their simple play-ability transformations and chrome accessories they come with.
> Each have unique consistent looking designs from robot mode to cat modes and their colour schemes are very bright and colourful which is another appealing feature about these toys. One thing that was odd about the 4 reptiles that you could collect was the colour scheme of the Iguana being a red and when looking at the toy artwork of him I was thinking what was the thought process changing him red instead making him green like his other 3 reptile friends? Perhaps it was just to make them all different looking from a visual stand point.
> In robot mode each have basic articulation from the arms and elbows. The only reptile that is able to hold his weapon accessories is the alligator since he hands holes molded in his hands, as for the rest they can only have them as they attach in and out of their reptile modes.
> In reptile modes some have articulation of 360 rotation in all 4 legs and sliding up and down head movement mainly for the transformation to robot and cat modes.
> The molding is great in design with quite a lot of detail on the parts which give it enough aesthetic in robot and reptile modes.
DOWN SIDES
> For their time they are fragile toys and I have had experiences where parts broke off, so be extremely careful when handling them!
CONCLUSION
Being a Transformer G1 fan, I fell in love with these toys and their wide range of packaging. They have inspired me to dedicate more to them by doing a illustration project based on all their toy designs and toy art work.
