Intro
Hi everyone and welcome to a new Robo-Synergy review!
It's time to review my complete The Mutants Transformables 4 collectible box sets!
Firstly I have to express it is sometimes difficult for me to describe in words how I feel about actually stumbling across all 4 box sets because I never imagined or expected to find even one of these sets since they apparently were only sold exclusively in parts of Europe/France and (If anyone out there knows more countries, please feel free to message me, I'd love to hear from you!). It makes them very hard to track down or just very uncommon to be aware of!

Packaging

Here they are, the front of the box sets show the toys behind plastic windows and they are in Mutant modes. The details on the boxes for each view have nice big bold colours, vibrant coloured stylized font, and some wonderful background artwork of a imaginary scene. What I always love about collecting these toys is the wonderful and professional toy artwork that is done for them. I feel the toy artwork is what helps sells these toys even more, they just look so good!

To see photos of the whole set in Mutant Modes and Beast Modes visit my post:
BIOROIDS - TRIANFORCE & DELTAFORCE

They are pretty much the same and identical and will post new update photos in the future for this post.

The Toys
The toys come on styro foam inserts with the weapon accessories pre-attached to each individual toy except for the 8 insects which had their accessories separate from the toys on the styro foam. And you get the sheet of toy instructions (unfortunately I'm missing the Invading Reptiles toy instructions, but all good!).

These French versions are the same as the original Japanese versions. The differences are Lansay completely changed the name of the series toy line with new names for the toys, different packaging designing, and released all 18 collectibles. If there is information somewhere and out there that the Japanese did release also the 8 insects, please message me! Otherwise Lansay are the only ones to do so, thank goodness!

The complete set of the toys is great to piece together, each have unique characteristics and features. They come with pre-applied stickers which I always preface since they're the most problematic when collecting the toys. The French versions didn't give any stories or profiles for the toys in their series, simply their character names and Beast mode names and I think it is a miss opportunity. Although the only thing I can say in their defense is they had limited time when they distributed them from Japan to France and just come up with a new name toy series names since they did already get the full story and character profiles in the Japanese versions. And if you were someone who did grow up with the toys, it would be still cool leaving it up the imagination to the consumers to come up with their own stories for the characters,  sometimes even better and more enjoyable!

Quality
The quality is the same, some vary in strong quality and some low quality, making them fragile or brittle. From my own experience when first playing with them, some joints are very tight and need a bit of light force to loosen them up and be more playable. You can enjoy them if you understand how their quality holds up, otherwise sadly you could end up breaking them accidentally or easily with even minimal force applied when articulating them which is worrisome at times but again try to slowly experience the toys for yourselves and take your time when handling them and it will allow them to last longer and enjoy the toys at their fullest!

Stickers
The stickers are commonly not stuck on properly or come half peeled off already or the most troublesome as they fall off straight away when you take them out of the packaging, this results them being lost, so please handle them extremely carefully!

Individual Card Backs

Front view
They were also sold as individual card backs. The front view of card comes with the toy in Mutant mode and sealed in plastic bubbles, with toy artwork of the reptile mode beside. The name of the toy series is shown at the top with stylized and colourful font. The wonderful background artwork compliments everything really well, it lets you imagine a fictional world and story for the toy characters.

Back view
The back view of the card is coloured in plain card board colors. It shows on top of the card the titles Fighting Animal and Invading Reptile illustrations of their Beast modes and basically their names are just the names of their Beast modes. The other half shows pictures of the toy instructions and transformation.

Outro
It is really nice to see Lansay, released the toys in 2 different options whether it be individual card backs or box sets to make them more fun to collect, they did a great job. I'm so happy to complete the Lansay box sets, as I mentioned at the start, I never imagined to find them because they're not something that pops up very often. There is no definitive official source to read up on these toys and I have to say from my experience, they are very scarce and rare to find.

I hope enjoyed the review and post!
